Club Meetings,
Directions and Map
For
the months of May, June, July and August our meetings will be held at the Fort
Walla Walla Airfield, on the first Sunday of each month, starting at 2:00 pm.
We hold our club meetings on the first
Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm. The meetings for March and April will be held
at Hobby World, 1519 E. Isaacs Avenue, in Walla Walla's Eastgate. Club meetings
for May, June, July and August will be held at the field.
The building is located at Dale Christensen's residence at 1677 West Highway 12, just
1/2 mile west of Walla Walla. Below are directions and a map to this building.
From the East, or from town
From Walla Walla,
take the freeway bi-pass out of town to the west. About ½ mile passed
Pine/ Dell Ave intersection, you’ll see the P P and L substation on the right.
Turn left immediately across from the substation into the lane marked
“Christensen”. Drive down the lane about 400 feet to the first large barn
style building on the right. Park anywhere. Entrance to the meeting room is on
the right side of the building.
From the south,
College Place
Drive through College Place on College
Ave. At the Rose Street intersection, stay in the left lane. Drive through the
stop sign to Wallula Road. Drive north passed the stop sign, which becomes Gose
Road. Continue on Gose Road to Highway 12. Turn right onto the highway, drive
about ½ mile and take notice of the PP and L substation on the left. Turn right
immediately across from the substation into the lane marked “Christensen”.
Drive down the lane about 400 feet to the first large barn style building on the
right. Park anywhere. Entrance to the meeting room is on the right side of the
building.
From the west, Touchet
Driving from the west into Walla
Walla, take notice of Gose Road, which is also marked as a turn off to College
Place. Drive passed Gose Road about ½ mile and take notice of the PP and L
substation on the left. Turn right immediately across from the substation into
the lane marked “Christensen”. Drive down the lane about 400 feet to the
first large barn style building on the right. Park anywhere. Entrance to the
meeting room is on the right side of the building.
