Our Flying Field

Our present day field was originally opened in 1976 with the cooperation of the City of Walla Walla. It is part of the Fort Walla Walla Park and is located on the north end of the property. It is flanked by the Outdoor Amphitheater and the RC Car Club's outdoor race track. It is but a short distance from anywhere in the valley and lends itself to a host of different types of airplanes.

Our asphalt runway spans 300 feet between wide grass strips, with runway access from starting tables. Our tables are supplied with 12 volt power that can be used in conjucntion with a host of plug in equipment, using banana clips.

The shade trees provide a great place for spectators and family members to visit and tay out of the sun while they watch the antics of both the pilots and their RC aircraft.

We have a small utility building that houses our lawn equipment and other necessities.
